Former Deputy Chief of Staff MK Yair Golan of Meretz responded to a campaign video released by the United Torah Judaism (UTJ) party comparing Reform Jews to dogs.
"According to the propaganda of Torah Judaism, Reform Jews are dogs. Just that. And whoever has undergone a Reform conversion is a dog. If this is not anti-Semitism, I'd like to know what is. How dare [they] claim that 70% of American Jews aren't actually Jewish? Where is the concern for the general welfare? Where's the open discussion on the Torah? Where is the concern for the convert? Today I feel deeply ashamed for my People," he wrote.
