Minister of Transportation, Miri Regev, conducted a situational assessment following the cabinet's decision to allow Israelis stranded abroad to return home and concluded that at first, no more than 1,000 passengers will be allowed to enter Israel per day.
According to Regev, the restriction will ensure the effectiveness of enforcement measures alongside the requirement for visitors to wear electronic bracelets.
