Israel's ambassador to the United States and the UN, Gilad Erdan, sent an official letter of complaint to the Security Council and the UN Secretary General, accusing the Iranian regime of an attack on an Israeli ship and reiterating that Israel would protect its citizens by all means at its disposal.
"The attack in the Gulf of Oman proves once again that Tehran continues to act in every way to destabilize the region while violating decisions made by the Security Council and international law," wrote Erdan.
