Deputy Education Minister Meir Porush (United Torah Judaism) told Reshet Bet radio in an interview on Monday evening, "Every bloc wants us in the coalition, we will not automatically back the Likud. As ones who are loyal to our path, we now find in the Likud more of an affinity for tradition and religion."
On the Supreme Court ruling on the issue of conversion, Porush said, "Reform conversion is fake. The ruling is the culmination of the abandonment of every halakhic sign by the judges of the Supreme Court. They are trampling Jewish identity. We have a responsibility for the future of Israel and its uniqueness."
