The Tel Aviv District Court today sentenced Yechiel Tapiro to five years in prison and a fine of NIS 100,000.
Adv. Amir Birman, who was Tapiro's partner, was sentenced by the court to three years in prison and a fine of NIS 75,000.
The two, who headed TB Advanced in Finance Ltd. (in liquidation), later Keren Or, were convicted last July of theft by an authorized person in the amount of NIS 45 million, receiving fraudulently in aggravated circumstances from investors in the amount of NIS 80 million, executive offenses in the corporation, and offenses of recruiting investors without a prospectus.
