The Ministries of the Interior, Environmental Protection and Health call on the public not to reach the shores of the Mediterranean for bathing, sports and leisure activities, in order to avoid contact with the tar that has polluted the beaches in recent days.
It has been reported that during the past week extensive cleaning operations have been carried out on the beaches. However, tar has still reached the beaches, and the cleaning and evacuation operations have not been completed.
