An IDF combat soldier from the 50th Battalion of the Nahal Brigade was seriously injured last night when he was shot at a base in the Jordan Valley. The soldier received a head wound, but apparently this was not the outcome of a suicide attempt - rather, he was shot by a fellow soldier.
The IDF is investigating the causes of the incident.
