'We are not satisfied with monetary compensation'

Former MK Nurit Koren, who chaired the committee probing the disappearance of Yemenite children, commented on the issue in an interview on Reshet Bet radio on Monday night.

"We have a list of 3,500 children who disappeared. From DNA tests we conducted, we discovered 5 children who were adopted into Ashkenazi families and were told that they had been abandoned. We are not satisfied with monetary compensation and demand the establishment of a memorial center and the establishment of a special memorial day," said Koren.
