Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Environmental Protection Minister Gila Gamliel toured the beach in Ashdod today in light of the ecological disaster caused by tar pollution.
"I was very impressed by the volunteering of the citizens who came to clean the beaches, this is an example and role model," the prime minister said. "We must protect our beaches, our country, the environment. Minister Gamliel will bring to the government a budget program tomorrow to clean the beaches."
