Daniel (Danny) Bitton, the father of singer Eyal Golan, died at the age of 71 after contracting the coronavirus.
Bitton was hospitalized while anesthetized and put on a ventilator for a week but ultimately succumbed to the illness, as reported by the singer's sister, Maya Golan.
