Ministery of Defense Gantz has described the return of an Israeli woman who had crossed the border into Syria as a humanitarian, as opposed to a security, event.
In his weekly security briefing, Gantz said, "I want to thank the Russian defense minister and the Russian government for its assistance in return for the Israeli woman from Syria to Israel."
Two Syrian shepherds were sent back to their country in return for the freed woman.
