Corona Commissioner Prof. Nachman Ash responded to the report that Israel is in advanced talks to purchase vaccine doses from two other companies, whose vaccines operate with a different technology than those that have arrived in Israel so far.
"We want to ensure that there is a vaccine for the whole population, and we think ahead - if there are resistant strains we should have a variety of vaccines," said the Corona Commissioner. .
He added, "I'm not sure this was the last lockdown. I hope so. If we see there is an increase in morbidity we will need to return to restrictions, to the point of lockdown."
