In an interview on Reshet Bet, Minister of Finance Yisrael Katz referred to the economic plan.
"I told Gantz yesterday that I was opposed to the definition 'election bribery.' This is a plan that continues things that we already did in the past. We can't wait because of the elections," he said, adding, "The coronavirus aid plan was always there alongside the budget, not in place of the budget. We must bring an update now. All the finance people were involved in the discussions - in the end the prime minister and I decided to bring it."
