The chairman of Yisrael Beytenu, MK Avigdor Liberman, said at a conference of the College of Management (Michlala Leminhal) in Rishon Lezion that the Yisrael Beytenu party will submit immediately after the establishment of the next Knesset, a bill for life imprisonment for raping minors without the possibility of shortening punishment or pardon.
According to MK Liberman, "I was deeply shocked by the rape of a 10-year-old girl from the south of the country who was raped by human animals. Such a horrible thing must not happen in a reformed country. Unfortunately, the law today is not strict in cases of this kind, and the first law that Yisrael Beytenu will submit immediately upon the establishment of the 24th Knesset is life imprisonment without the possibility of shortening the sentence or pardoning those convicted of raping minors."
