The IDF launched the "Vered HaGalil" drill in the Israel Air Force in a surprise format on Sunday. The drill, conducted under the direction of IAF commander Major General Amikam Norkin, is intended to improve the Air Force's readiness to fight in the northern arena.

As part of the drill, starting Monday afternoon, there will be a lively movement of aircraft, planes and helicopters throughout the country, and sounds of explosions will be heard in the area. The drill is expected to end on Wednesday.
