Coalition chairman and Likud faction chairman MK Miki Zohar said that despite Defense Minister Benny Gantz's request, the issue of the JNF's land acquisition in Judea and Samaria remains in place and will be voted on today by the board and management.
"Gantz's bizarre appeal, whose whole purpose is to garner Left-wing votes in the elections, is another low point in his public path. I worked to ensure that the vote on the issue was conducted properly in the Board and the Directorate without change. We do not intend to give up on this important issue and any attempt to postpone the procedure will lead to resolute opposition from Likud members in the JNF," said MK Zohar.
Gantz today addressed JNF Chairman Avraham Duvdevani, and asked to postpone the change in policy regarding the purchase of land in Judea and Samaria until the consequences are examined by the defense establishment and the Civil Administration.
