A 28-year-old male was arrested after hitting police motorcycles, using the ATV he was driving, while trying to escape from them last Friday.
The police spotted the ATV driver in the industrial area of Ashdod, with two riders on it. After being called to turn off the ATV engine, the driver tried to escape and struck the motorcycles. The suspect was arrested for questioning and his remand was extended over the weekend. Today, the suspect will be brought in for another hearing to extend his detention.
