Communications Minister Benny Gantz decided that the cellular companies will expand coverage of the 4th generation network within two years from the 75 percent coverage that it currently has to 95 percent, according to Israel Hayom.

According to the report, Gantz ordered that priority be given to the Judea and Samaria area and to "red roads" throughout the country, such as the Acco bypass and Route 8833 in the north. To this end, the traffic police mapped the problem areas in the country.
