Minister of Transportation Miri Regev is pushing a move regulate the use of digital tachographs in all new trucks and buses in the country in order to reduce road accidents.
According to the Knesset website, chairman of the Economic Affairs Committee, Shas MK Yakov Margi, said digital tachographs were used to monitor the activity of drivers of heavy vehicles.
