Mahane Yehuda Market Merchants' Committee Chairman Tali Friedman attacked what she defines as ignoring a Supreme Court ruling.
"Market traders and store owners are outraged that some of the retail and stock chains are ignoring last night's ruling that prevents vital businesses from selling non-essential products. I call on law enforcement to prevent this scandal immediately and to enforce the Supreme Court ruling, which came to us about a year late.
"I calls on the government to impose heavy fines and sanctions on anyone who continues not to obey the Supreme Court and acts in a swinish and reckless manner," Friedman said.
