Defense Minister Benny Gantz spoke with Russian Minister of Defense Sergei Shoigu today. The two discussed security challenges in the Middle East as a whole, and Syria in particular.
Gantz and Shoigu agreed to continue the dialogue between the two states to ensure troop safety, and affirmed the importance of taking steps to ease the humanitarian crisis on the ground.
DM Gantz further brought up the need to work together to contend with the bias apparent in the ICC, and the two expressed their commitment to continued cooperation in the fight on terror.
