Iran announces beginning of vaccination drive

Iran's COVD-19 vaccination has begun.

The son of Health Minister Saeed Namaki became the first citizen of the Islamic Republic to receive the Russian SputnikV vaccine. Iran has faced the deadliest coronavirus outbreak in the Middle East.
