Yair Lapid attacked head of the Religious Zionism party, Bezalel Smotrich.

"The Religious Zionism party established by Netanyahu together with Smotrich and Ben-Gvir has labeled itself 'religious Zionist,'" he said. "In reality, religious Zionism is a lot better than that."

Lapid labeled Smotrich's assessment that the union with Otzma was just a "technical bloc" [that would be lifted once elections were over] a "pathetic joke," and accused him of "running on the same ticket with a terror-supporter."

"What you really are is the 'Baruch Goldstein' party," he stated.
