Russia's foreign ministry has rejected calls from countries around the world to release opposition leader Alexei Navalny, who has been sentenced to three-and-a-half years in prison.
Moscow Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said: "Do not interfere in the internal affairs of a sovereign state. We urge everyone to deal with their own problems."
