Head of the IDF's Southern Command, Maj. Gen. Herzi Halevi, and commander of the Ground forces, Maj. Gen. Yoel Strick, along with other senior officers from the Southern Command were exposed to an officer who's been diagnosed with Corona.
In light of this development and according to Ministry of Health guidelines, the commanders will enter quarantine while continuing to maintain as regular a schedule as possible. According to the IDF, the quarantined officers are symptom-free and feeling well and are to be re-examined in the near future.
