Pfizer has announced that a new study has shown their vaccine to be effective against both the South African and British coronavirus mutations.
According to Pfizer, there is no need for an updated version of the vaccine, nor for an additional booseter dose.
The company is prepared to tweak their vaccine at a later date if there are mutations or variants which require it, they said.
