Sources in the Ministry of Health told Kann News that if the numbers of patients in serious condition continues to grow into the coming week, they will likely request a further extension in the ongoing lockdown.
"You can't exit the lockdown with 1,200 patients in serious condition," the sources explained. "None of the current measures seem to be able to reduce the morbidity rate. We'll have to wait for the vaccinations to kick in to see a serious decrease."
