A mother and her three children, residents of Tzfat, arrived at Ziv Medical Center this morning, with headaches, nausea, dizziness and vomiting.

After an examination at the emergency room, it turned out that this had been caused by carbon monoxide poisoning, as a result of a charcoal barbecue that they lit last night in the living room of their house and on which they roasted corn. After the smoke remained in the house throughout the night, the members of the house woke up with the severe symptoms that led them to the emergency room.

The mother and one of the daughters are being transferred to a pressure cell for further treatment and the other two children will be hospitalized in intensive care. Everyone's condition is defined as light.
