Israeli health services reported 5 new cases of the S. African mutation diagnosed in nationwide over the past day.
There have been 27 cases of the new strain reported up till now. The patients have been individuals returning from trips to the UAE and S. Africa.
The Health Min. said it would continue updating residents on new developments with regards to the virus.
