Yesh Atid-Telem MK Meir Cohen attacked the government's welfare policy after the publication of the National Insurance data for 2020.

"It is impossible to blare at every opportunity: 'We have a strong economy', with two million citizens living in poverty and almost a million children living in distress. Behind the dry definition of a poor child, there is a terrible reality of deprivation, too often children who go to bed hungry. This is not a strong economy, this is a smoke screen," Cohen wrote on Twitter.
