Dorit Hershkowitz, spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry, said visitors to Israel would have to present negative COVID exams prior to entering the country.
"All those holding foreign passports wishing to return to Israel, please note this announcement issued yesterday by the Prime Minister’s Office: Starting midnight 23.1.21, all travelers must present a negative COVID-19 test result upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, completed up to 72 hours prior to your flight. This requirement is in addition to the need to submit a request for a re-entry permit for foreign nationals. Thanks," she wrote.
