In a slew of last-second moves, Pres. Trump pardoned former campaign aide Steve Bannon and rapper Lil' Wayne.
The outgoing President also pardoned President issues a total of 73 pardons and 70 commutations, including GOP fundraiser Elliott Broidy and former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick.
According to MSNBC News, Bannon, who was in charge of the final months of his 2016 presidential campaign — was indicted on charges of wire fraud and attempted money laundering.
Prosecutors claimed Bannon’s crowdfunding campaign for the Mexico border wall took hundreds of thousands of donated dollars and used these for personal expenses.
Trump said at he was not aware of Bannon's actions and attempted to distance himself from the former ally.
