Israel's Chief Rabbi, Rabbi David Lau, announced a global day of prayer this coming Thursday in light of the surging Coronavrius, with the consent of Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky.
At 4pm Israel time, a globally-broadcast prayer service will be held at Rachel's Tomb in Beit Lechem (Bethlehem).
The rabbi also called on individuals to take upon themselves to fast till midnight.
