Rabbi Yisrael Meir Lau, who was infected with the coronavirus, said he was feeling well and had no symptoms.
"I have good reasons for optimism. I received 2 vaccines and, to my surprise, I received a call from the health ministry that I tested positive.
"Thank G-d, nothing hurts, I follow orders, pray individually at home. I received the message 5 days after the second vaccine, but I probably got infected before the second vaccine," he said in an interview with Galei Yisrael. radio.
"I see it (the contempt for public space) for close to a year, and I do not understand it. It is human life, instead of bringing the end closer we distance it by seeking leniencies of the moment and it costs us human life," he added.
