MK Samy Abu Shahadeh announced on Thursday evening that he would run in the primaries for the leadership of the Balad party.
"I am here in the service of my people, in the service of all those for whom the values of equality and democracy and freedom from oppression and striving to end the occupation are important, and out of respect and dedication to Balad's unique project that changed and will continue to shape political reality within Arab society," said Abu Shahadeh.
