For the second time this week, IDF fighters thwarted drug smuggling from the Egyptian border.
Earlier today, IDF forward observers identified a number of suspects who tried to smuggle drugs from Egyptian territory into Israeli territory in the Paran Regional Brigade area.
Fighters operating in the area chased the smugglers and thwarted the smuggling. A number of bags containing drugs worth millions of shekels and vehicles were seized and handed over to the Israel Police.
