Former US ambassador to Israel Dan Shapiro explained why the Democrats insist on continuing the process of ousting the President, who will end his term in the coming days.
"Although the Senate will not be able to advance the trial until after Biden takes office, the procedure is necessary to prevent Trump from taking an official position in the future.
