Bar Association head Adv. Avi Chimi sent a warning letter before a lawsuit to former Prime Minister Ehud Barak.
The warning letter was sent following a radio interview conducted today on Reshet Bet. In the interview, Barak told journalist Esti Perez that the Bar Association acted to postpone the trial of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, and afterwards the Bar Association head joined Netanyahu's defense team.
Advocate Chimi served Barak with the demand that he publish an apology within 24 hours and retract the serious accusations, as well as to transfer a sum of about NIS 30 thousand to be donated to a hospital for the treatment of COVID-19 patients.
