In a discussion at the Israel Democracy Institute this morning, MK Ayelet Shaked rejected the possibility of a joint run by the Yamina Party led by Naftali Bennett and the New Hope Party led by Gideon Sa'ar.

"The option of uniting with Sa'ar does not exist," Shaked said during the discussion, "for two reasons: even for those who want it, the parties individually hold more seats separately than if they run together. I mean, the whole is smaller than the sum of its parts. Second, Gideon Sa'ar and his entire party were part of this failed government. So that kind of connection is out of the question."
