The U.S. House of Representatives has approved a resolution calling on Vice President Pence to invoke the 25th Amendment, effectively ousting President Trump from office.
The proposal passed by a majority of 233 to 205 with five House Republicans voting in favor.
This is only a declaratory decision, however, and VP Pence has already stated he does not intend to apply the move.
