The mayor of Ramat Gan, Carmel Shama HaCohen, this evening (Tuesday) called on the residents of his city to adhere to public health guidelines in light of the increase in new infections and death rates in the city.
"This is the most difficult and sad day for Ramat Gan since the pandemic began. In the last 24 hours, 7 more Ramat Gan residents have died than in the past month, close to a tenth of our city's total deaths to this virus."
"Take care of yourselves and of others around you. My condolences to the bereaved families. The municipality has helped before and will continue to assist you in this difficult time," the mayor added.
