The Jewish community in Hebron expresses great sorrow over the death of the late Jewish businessman Sheldon Adelson.
"Sheldon was one of the greatest backers and supporters of the Jewish people in Israel and the Diaspora for decades, and a man with love, dedication, and pride. Mr. Adelson was full of love and admiration for the State of Israel, the Land of Israel and its residents, and strengthened and adopted Hebron with endless concern for their well-being and health.
"His good memory will be preserved forever in the history, building, and glory of the State of Israel, the Land of Israel and its settlers," said Rabbi Hillel Horowitz of Hebron.
