Defense Minister Benny Gantz defended the Court's decision to ban screening of the anti-Israeli movie "Jenin, Jenin."

“As a former commander of the IDF and current head of the defense establishment, I know very well that our soldiers stringently uphold the code of purity of arms and hold themselves to the highest military standards in preventing the death of innocent people. As IDF chief and as defense minister, I have supported the struggle of the soldiers who were deployed in Operation Defensive Shield to bring the truth about the “Jenin, Jenin” film to light, and I applaud the closure that the court’s ruling has brought," tweeted Gantz.
