Meretz MK and former Deputy to the Chief of Staff, Yair Golan attacked "certain hassidic communities who choose to ignore coronavirus guidelines."
"If these communities fail to abide by government-mandated laws, maybe the government should strip them of certain rights - like basic healthcare for example," tweeted Golan.
Some followers took notice, with one tweeting back, "Golan is the only one ignoring the law for the time being. A few months ago, he said the virus was 'no big deal,' only to end up taking down that tweet like other ridiculous things he's said."
