Deputy Minister Uri Maklev commented on the Supreme Court's ruling on chametz in hospitals on Passover.

"The court's ruling does not come from a constitutional background, but from a hostile worldview of the judges who do not represent the majority in the Land of Israel that keeps kosher on Passover.

"This opaque and hostile ruling does not allow freedom for those who do not want to observe chametz on Passover - but actually harms most Israelis who keep chametz on Passover, and practically harms the patients hospitalized to keep kosher on Passover. The court in this ruling only represents itself," he added.
