Police yesterday arrested a 61-year-old resident of Rishon LeTzion who is suspected of abusing cats found in his apartment.
Yesterday, police received a call from a city resident about the pungent odor coming from her neighbor’s apartment. Police officers who arrived at the scene located two cats in the neighbor's apartment tied with iron wires and one of them had a deep cut. The cats were transferred to the municipal veterinarian.
