A police car was set on fire last night outside the home of a police officer in Kiryat Shmona.
In recent days, police vehicles have been burned in the northern towns of Hatzor HaGlilit, Tzfar (Safed), and Yesod HaMa'ala.
This is suspected to be an attempt by criminal organizations to deter law enforcement from pressuring them to do away with the practice of collecting "protection fees."
