The Likud reacted sharply to the legal advisor's announcement about the dates for issuing permits for Netanyahu's investigations, "Until now, the prosecutor's office claimed that the legal advisor's approval was not part of the investigation material and therefore should not be forwarded to defense attorneys."

"The State Attorney's Office's response proves that the State Attorney's Office lied and that there was never a legal advisor's approval to open an investigation against the Prime Minister, contrary to the Basic Law - therefore the investigations against the Prime Minister are illegal.

"All of this is enough to immediately announce the closure of the tailor-made cases against a powerful right-leaning prime minister, that was conceived in sin, and continued with blackmailing witnesses, conflicts of interest, and covering-up investigations," they added.
