A 70-year-old man was killed in a work accident at a factory on Kedma Street in Ashdod.
United Hatzalah paramedic Yosef Gabay, who works at a nearby factory, said: "When I arrived at the scene, I found a worker lifeless as a result of a severe head injury after a heavy iron plate fell on him from a crane inside the factory where he worked. Unfortunately, his death was determined at the scene due to the nature of the serious injuries he suffered."
