Health Minister Yuli Edelstein called for a tightened lockdown: "We're in a more severe outbreak than we were before the Tishrei holidays. I understand the desire of all of us to be at the end, but I don't understand the populism and political opposition by some MKs," he told Galei Tzahal.
Minister Edelstein noted that no new appointments for vaccines will be made during the month. "We will put a focus on the populations at risk. Whoever got the first shot will get the second - that is the goal, that there not be one case where someone got one dose and there won't be another dose."
